Installation in situ for the facades of IRCAM - Centre Pompidou

Infinite Light Columns is an installation by the duo AROTIN & SERGHEI created on the façade of IRCAM - Centre Pompidou as part of the ManiFeste 2021 festival.

Composed of four columns—combining analog and digital—the installation symbolizes renewal and a change of perspectives. It evokes visions of the multiple avant-gardes presented in the Centre Pompidou: Brancusi and his Endless Column, Kandinsky and synesthesia, Malevich and The Black Square, as well as the worlds of cinema, architecture, and the sound universe of IRCAM.

This installation is a part of the work-in-progress, Infinite Screen, a protean series on the idea of the infinite in our era.
