The Musiques-Fictions combine a contemporary text, a musical creation, and a collective experience of immersive listening. A collection launched in 2020, a program in which musical creation is in direct contact with literary fiction. Giving full scope to musical writing and full intelligibility to the text: Musiques-Fictions intends to renew the genre of radio fiction, the Hörspiel, by going beyond the simple sonic illustration of the narrative or dialogue, when the image no longer acts as a screen. This spectacular novel follows the destinies of men and women who come to California to work on the construction of a gigantic suspension bridge. It is also a reflection on the collateral effects of globalization. "With the music of Naissance d'un pont, my intention was to bring together the characteristics of both a fresco and a portrait: on the one hand, the monumentality of the fresco, which traces large arches, between an overall narrative plan and a frozen installation; on the other hand, the richness of detail, a swarming of tiny events, like a Flemish portrait.
